3. Intaglio printing
Gravure printing is one of the four printing methods. Gravure printing is a direct printing method, which can be divided into three categories: engraved gravure, photographic gravure and electronic gravure.
The structural characteristics of the intaglio surface are: the graphic part of the plate is concave, forming inking holes of different depths, and the non graphic part is convex, and on the same plane or cylinder with the same radius. During printing, a part of the plate cylinder is immersed in the ink tank, the ink moistens the plate surface, fills in the inking hole, and then observes to remove the ink on the plate surface. Under the effect of printing pressure, the ink in the inking hole is transferred to the substrate surface.
Gravure printing has high quality, thick ink layer, bright color, clear lines, high saturation, high printing plate printing resistance, stable print quality and fast printing speed, which plays an extremely important role in the field of printing packaging and graphic publishing. Gravure printing is widely used in plastic film packaging, stamps, stocks and other securities printing.
Gravure printing is more used in plastic film soft package printing in China. The disadvantage of intaglio printing is that it has a long printing cycle and high cost, but the printing plate has a high printing resistance, which is usually suitable for large batch printing. The larger the batch, the higher the benefit.
Remark: After printing, here comes the lamination to protect the ink color and paper surface.

4. Screen printing
Screen printing, which is called screen printing or screen printing for short, is an ancient printing method. Screen printing plate is based on the screen as the support. Now, a layer of photosensitive adhesive is coated on the screen, and then the positive negative film is tightly connected to the photosensitive adhesive layer, which is made by exposure and development. The photosensitive film of the blank part of the printing plate reacts with light to form a solidified plate film to seal the mesh; the photosensitive film of the image and text part of the printing plate is removed during development, and the mesh is transparent. In printing, the ink is leaked to the substrate through the mesh to form the printed matter.
Screen printing equipment is simple, easy to operate, printing, plate making simple and low cost, strong adaptability. Different from the other three methods, it can not only print on the plane, but also partly wrap three-dimensional objects with silk screen, so it makes silk screen printing be able to print images and words on the finished products, which is called universal printing.
Screen printing can print on curved surface is one of the biggest advantages different from other printing methods. Screen printing products have bright colors, thick ink layer, strong sense of three-dimensional, long-term preservation, more and more recognized by various industries, should be extensive. Circuit board, textile, ceramics, glass, super large outer packaging and product appearance decoration can be completed by screen printing.
